Course Description
This course is designed to improve the student’s ability to communicate through reading, writing, and speaking for the world of work and independent living. The general education curriculum and Common Core standards will be followed as well as the IEP goals of each student. Students will have time to engage in silent reading and writing in a journal. Student will be working out of two online programs. They will be exposed and analyze classic literature. Students will also do a research paper.
